We use a 3D parametric approach and have developed our own modeling software system (the Neilsoft 3D Modeling Process) which combines Autodesk Inventor/Solidworks and other 3D modeling packages, such as Advanced Steel, Tekla etc. This helps in more accurate bill of material and shorter erection time since most of the interferences are checked at design stage itself. |
