People Interactive owner of Shaadi.com, Fropper.com, and Astrolife.com portals and Pune-based Neilsoft, a leading provider of Engineering Technology (ET) services and solutions have separately won the prestigious 'The Deloitte Technology Fast 50' awards. They were selected in the Deloitte List of. the 50 fastest growing TMT (Tech-nology, Media, and Telecom) com-panies in India for the year 2005.

While People Interactive came in the top 10 in the Deloitte Technol-ogy Fast 50, both the companies have been selected in the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 Asia Pacific 2005 Program, which acknowledges fast growing technology companies across Asia Pacific. The companies were recently honoured at an awards function in Mumbai.


On getting the award Chairman and MD of Peoples Interactive Anu-pam Mittal said, "This certification, has further strengthened our belief in hard work, dedication and team-work which has been our strong foundation. Our perseverance and commitment has made us capable of standing in the league of pioneers in the technology industry."

Speaking on the subject, Managing Director of Neilsoft Ketan Bakshi, said, "This recognition is an excellent tribute to the efforts of all Neilsoftians. It is also recognition of the emerging opportunity and fast growth of the ET sector."

It also plans to set up new facilities at the Hinjewadi soft-ware park in the city. The new facility will help the company to increase its total space to around 100,000 square feet from the present 85,000 square feet.

It, however, intends to retain the three existing facilities in Pune. The software major al-so intends to concentrate on its offices in US, UK, Switzerland and Sweden.
