BUOYED by the economic boom and construction
activity taking place in Qatar, an Indian
engineering services company is looking
to set up its regional base in Doha.
Currently three Of Neilsoft's top executives
are in the country looking at the opportunities
and meeting potential customers prior to
opening shop here.
Neilsoft, the Pune-based company which hopes
to have an annual turnover of $1OOmn in
five years from now, is rated as one Of
the five fastest growing engineering firms
in India according to Deloitte, its director
R D Shah told Gulf Times yesterday.
The l4-year old company, which currently
clocks a $15mn annual turnover, also figures
in the 50 fastest growing companies across
all segments in the country, added Mohit
Kochar, of the company.
"Already we have received a number
of active proposals", said V G K Nayar,
Middle East sales manager of the company,
who was involved in setting up a switchgears
manufacturing factory in Doha right from
concept to commissioning as a project manager.
The team will be making a presentation tomorrow
at the Engineers' Day function.
The presentation will be made by Vaibhav
Aneja, the company's chief marketing officer,
who is arriving tomorrow.
Neilsoft is a specialist engineering services
provider catering to international clients
in the construction (building and industrial
projects); and mechanical segments, the
officials said.
The company is part of the "Engineering
Advisory Forum", formed by NASSCOM,
the National Association of Software and
Service Companies, the premier organization
that represents and sets the tone for public
policy for the Indian software industry.
The forum was set up to help evolve India
as the global hub for engineering services.
According to Shah, the company offers detailed
design and construction engineering for
building systems and industrial plants in
multiple disciplines including structural
engineering, architectural and other services.
