DOHA Neilsoft, India-based specialist engineering
service provider, is looking to start operations
in Qatar soon. The company, which propagates
itself as a saleable, value-based organisation,
has turned towards the Gulf after making
its presence felt in the US, UK, rest of
Europe and Japan.
The company is apparently keen on taking
maximum advantage of the boom the region
is witnessing. It is already providing consultancy
services to a few Dubai-based clients.
"Qatar and Dubai are two places we
can look for. While Dubai is banking solely
on construction sector, Qatar has both construction
and industrial activities in the pipeline:'
RD Shah, director of the company, said on
being asked why they have turned attention
towards the region.
Neilsoft, which claims to have a strong
domain understanding of the construction
industry and in-depth knowledge of all minute
aspects of detailed engineering, is looking
forward to make a foray into the construction
sector at the moment.
It has entered into negotiations with the
Doha-based builders and bigger consultants.
The company, in 2004-05, was identified
as one of the fastest growing in Deloitte
Technology Fast 50 programme - recognition
of the impressive growth rate the company
has maintained over the years. Shah
said, "We expect a top-line growth
of 60 per cent this financial year~
He mentioned the turnover at the end Of
the current financial year would be Rs.
65 crore, much above the Rs. 41 crore achieved
during 200506 and Rs. 26 crore during 2004-05.
