Neilsoft, a Pune based engineering services
and technology solution provider ,signed
a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with
BVB college of Engineering and Technology,
Hubli, here on Friday.
The MoU was signed under the Head start
programme for Engineering schools, organised
under the aegis of NASSCOM, as part of its
work force development initiative. BVB was
the second engineering institute that signed
a MoU with Neilsoft, the other being College
of~ Engineering, Pune.
Speaking on the occasion. Prashanth Chunduri,
head of HR. Neilsoft, said 'We started our
operations in Hubli in May tills year since
we see a lot of potential in terms of engineering
talent available." .
Through this initiative, they planned to
nurture the talent pool further and prepare
them to serve international engineering
clients that would also help strengthen
association with Hubli, he added.
Representing the BVB College of Engineering
and Technology, Dr. Ashok Shettar, principal,
said the Head Start programme was based
on the concepts of blended learning.
Under this programme, the students would
also be trained in team work, communications,
cultural diversity, project management etc.
