CONTACT Cloud Connect 2020 (Online Event) - which took place for the European/Asian region on October 13, 2020 and the American region on October 20, 2020, was presented by CONTACT Software and focused on the current trends and use cases of digital value creation in product development, production and service together with practitioners, industry experts and pioneers.

The highlight of Cloud Connect 2020 was the new version 15.5 of CONTACT Elements, CONTACT's open and highly modular platform, which combines over 50 business applications and core services for end-to-end processes along the digital thread. The main application areas for the solution include variant management, product costing, model-based systems engineering and configuration management.

In addition, well-known industrial users and partners provided insights into their respective projects and solutions. The program kick started with an insightful keynote by Prof. Dr. Fischer from the Steinbeis Transfer Center, who, in his presentation "Orientation on the Way to the Digitized Enterprise", analyzed the potentials and applications of digitization with a view on the needs of the industry.
