  • Gravity load analysis for Dead load, Live Load, Imposed load & Snow load combinations.
  • Lateral load analysis for Dead load, Wind load, Seismic load combinations.
  • Knowledge of loading standards – SBC, UBC, BOCA, BS, ASCE codes
Analysis & Design of Precast Structures:
  • Design basis and detailed structural analysis.
  • Determination of Lateral load resisting system in form of shear walls.
  • Lateral Stability Analysis of the structure.
  • Layout and size of primary & secondary framing members (Wall panels, Slabs, IT girders, Spandrels, Hollow core slabs etc.).
  • Connection designs or specifying forces for a propriety connection system. (As per requirement).
  • Design of structural element like Wall panels, Slabs, Spandrels, Double Tees, Hollow core slabs, Sandwich wall panels for external face etc.
  • Standards for design – ACI, AISC, BS codes, PCI design hand book.
Detailing of Precast Structures:
  • Connection detailing as per precaster’s detailing standards or Neilsoft’s detailing standards (as per requirement).
  • Erection drawings & shop drawings showing erection sequences and positions of expansion joints, connection details.
  • Reinforcing details and bill of materials (as per requirement)
