Role – BIM Coordinator-Steel

Location: Canton, MI

Experience- 3+ years

Job Responsibilities:

Setting and maintaining client preferences and drawing standards
Should be able to generate shop and assembly drawings using Tekla (3D)/SDS2 software for the fabrication of various steel structure
Experience in Structural and Miscellaneous Steel modelling and checking against contract drawings
Should have exposure to client interaction and coordination
Should have knowledge about handling RFI’s internal and client/contractor

Minimum a Diploma or Degree in Engineering with at least 3 years of working experience in construction, design, drafting, or coordination, as per local codes and standards.
Minimum a Diploma/Bachelor’s in Engineering (Civil) with at least 3 years of working experience in construction, design, drafting, or coordination
Sound knowledge of AISC, NISD, IBC, CISC and OSHA standards of structural steel detailing
Self-motivated, able to assume responsibility, and able to handle teams.
Good communication with fluency in English and documentation skills.
Knowledge of Revit added advantage
