Experience: 5 - 10 Years
Background and Skills:
- Selling Application Software Products CAD/CAM/CAE of any leading OEM
- Experience in selling engineering solutions such as CAD, CAM, CAE, Collaboration, Cloud &/Or Data Analytics Software
- Team & Sales management experience
- Adjust content of sales presentations by studying the type of customer & their segment
- Focus sales efforts by studying existing and potential business opportunities
- Complete & Submit proposals accurately and in a timely fashion
- Follow up on proposals and sales leads on a regular basis
- Utilize support staff to improve own effectiveness
- Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, monthly and annual territory analysis
- Should have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in using MS Office Tools such as MS Word, Excel, & PPT
- Exposure on using tools such as Salesforce
- Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as required
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Recruit, hire, and train sales team
- Set sales goals, compare performance to goals, and adjust goals as needed
- Assess current team processes and procedures, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement them
- Develop individual quotas and assign territories for team members
- Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts
- Coach, mentor, and provide feedback to team members
- Foster a competitive yet collaborative team environment
- Assess individual performance through observation and measurement, and suggest corrective actions as needed
