Position: Sales Engineer – Process & Piping Solutions
Experience: 5+ years in technical sales or sales engineering within the processing industries (Chemical, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, Water & Wastewater, Food & Beverage, Power)
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Chemical, or Process Engineering; MBA or formal sales training is a strong advantage

Required Skills & Experience:
- Deep understanding of piping systems, plant layouts, and P&IDs
- Strong working knowledge of ASME B31.3, ANSI, PIP & OSHA standards
- Proficient in AutoCAD Plant 3D; Aveva E3D experience is a plus
- Proven success in technical sales, especially with long, complex enterprise sales cycles
- Familiarity with structured sales methodologies such as BANT, MEDDIC/MEDDICC
- Comfortable engaging with engineering teams, procurement, and C-level stakeholders
- Excellent communicator (written, verbal, and presentation skills)
- A strategic hunter mindset with a relentless “never give up” attitude
- Demonstrated ability to penetrate new accounts, prospect with confidence, and close large enterprise deals
- Social media savvy (LinkedIn prospecting, industry networking, digital lead gen tactics)
- Ability to perform detailed market and account research to identify opportunities
- Strong GTM strategy development and execution capabilities
- Experience building, tracking, and executing strategic sales plans
- Willingness to travel domestically 50–75% of the time
Responsibilities:
- Own the full sales lifecycle - from prospecting to deal closure
- Develop and execute regional Go-to-Market strategies and territory sales plans
- Actively hunt and open new logo opportunities through research, outreach, cold calling, and networking
- Conduct product demos and present technical solutions to customers
- Collaborate with internal engineering and application teams to tailor solutions
- Build high-trust relationships with engineers, buyers, and executive sponsors
- Understand customer pain points and provide consultative guidance using the company’s portfolio of software and services
- Work closely with marketing, operations, and technical teams to align on strategy
- Maintain an up-to-date CRM with key activity tracking, pipeline management, and forecasting
- Represent the company at trade shows, customer sites, and industry events
- Be a visible face of the brand and a proactive voice in building market awareness
