Experience: 5 - 10 Years


Background and Skills:


  • Selling Application Software Products CAD/CAM/CAE of any leading OEM
  • Experience in selling engineering solutions such as CAD, CAM, CAE, Collaboration, Cloud &/Or Data Analytics Software
  • Team & Sales management experience
  • Adjust content of sales presentations by studying the type of customer & their segment
  • Focus sales efforts by studying existing and potential business opportunities
  • Complete & Submit proposals accurately and in a timely fashion
  • Follow up on proposals and sales leads on a regular basis
  • Utilize support staff to improve own effectiveness
  • Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, monthly and annual territory analysis
  • Should have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in using MS Office Tools such as MS Word, Excel, & PPT
  • Exposure on using tools such as Salesforce
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as required

Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Recruit, hire, and train sales team
  • Set sales goals, compare performance to goals, and adjust goals as needed
  • Assess current team processes and procedures, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement them
  • Develop individual quotas and assign territories for team members
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts
  • Coach, mentor, and provide feedback to team members
  • Foster a competitive yet collaborative team environment
  • Assess individual performance through observation and measurement, and suggest corrective actions as needed
